Talon News going down?
By all appearances, Talon News hasn't been updated since last Thursday, and links to news stories redirect to nowheresville at GOPUSA.com. Never was much of a news site, was it? Heavy duty scrubbing of the web decks cannot hide this embarrassing bunch of hypocrites.

The recent public focus on Talon News, while much of it malicious, has indeed brought some constructive elements to the surface.We didn't know that guy was faking his way into the White House. I mean, we would have been cool with that, but the gay porn was too much. Sure, we all knew about it, but being Republicans we figured it's not wrong if you don't get caught.
It has also brought many kind messages of support, and for that we are extremely grateful.Our moms still think we're cool.
In order to better serve those readers across the country who enjoy Talon News content and look forward to receiving it each day, we feel compelled to reevaluate operations in order to provide the highest quality, most professional product possible.From now on, we're going to be sneakier and more ambiguous when posting off libelous stories. We're also going to ask all future staffers, "By the way, did you pose on any gay porn sites?"
Thus, Talon News will be offline while we redesign the web site, perform a top-to-bottom review of staff and volunteer contributors, and address future operational procedures.Our "top-to-bottom" review will include pictures. Hehehe ... we made that one way too easy.
We look forward to bringing an even better product to our readers in the future.It's the least we can do for our moms.
